"What do we mean by Sales?"
Crying is her way of selling her need to her parent for a toy or food.
A guy asking a girl out on a date is also trying to sell his eligibility to her for a date with her.
Students, who did not do homework too try to "sell" excuses for not doing what they were supposed to do.
Parents or elders disciplining young ones to are "selling" the benefits of discipline to younger ones.
In fact, in most life situations, most people are trying to sell "excuses" or "emotions" to get what they want in life.
Of course, in all the above scenarios, the act of Sales is happening subconsciously.
The reality is everyone is in sales.
After, knowing sales in day-to-day normal life situations, let us dive into what is sales in commercial settings.
What is Sales :
Selling products, ideas, and concepts to the other person in the hope of convincing the other person to accept (idea, concept or demand, or desired goal), agree(idea, concept or demand, or desired goal), or buy (product).
Sales is all about making other people agree to or accept what the seller wants to sell.
A seller may like to sell a product or service or an idea or concept or a simple request or a simple opinion.
Commercially Sales entails ‘meeting' customers either face to face or online or thru email and trying to sell more of company products.
Sellers try to influence buyers by educating them on the benefits they will get from company products/services.
'Sales' is a transactional act.
